damn even for a beat up morgan with a hole in it that is BEAUTIFUL !!!

great find AgentX!!!

Ouch I hate holed coins. I remember one time I asked some dealer about my first found in the wild 1952 Frankie with a hole. He refused to give it a grade. I asked what grade would it be without the hole, he then got angry. Sad that I thought it was such a cool find that I had it put into a 1.5x1.5 flip amongst my small collection at the time like I treasured it.

Still a great find for $1

Nice find!!!!

I have never found a Morgan. I did get a Peace dollar once, but I consider that a once in a lifetime type find.

I've been extremely lucky. I've got one branch that holds anything of interest for me. I've pulled all seven of my Morgans from the branch on three separate occasions. Needless to say, I bring a lot of chocolate in!

Too bad its got a hole Even so a great find What year and MM is it?

Unfortunately this was a common practice in the Victorian era ( less so in more modern times ) Ive seen numerous otherwise bueatiful coins of this era ruined like this

any silver like that is an amazing find! Around this time last year I went to a bank asking for Ikes. The teller told me she had a bunch of old dollar coins she wanted to get rid of to make closing her drawer easier, and scored FIVE morgans, and one was a 1878cc! Thats around $200 worth of coins for 5 bucks, my best return on investment EVER. I know I will never find anything like that again so I kinda have taken a break on hunting since then. Funniest part is that my cousin also does CRH and I scored the Morgans 5 blocks from his house :)
