Me & Todd Hiltz had a great day detecting 3 cellar holes .Todd killed it in the copper dept & I was blessed to get my 12th George Washington Inaugural button.. I think it's a CT copper? A musket ball,a complete wooden barrell tap & a couple buttons. The ticks were horrible but great weather and an awesome day to be out in the woods saving history.Anyone good at dating bullets too?

Why in the world can't we find any GW buttons in VA where he was born and lived and you found 12!!! You and your White's definitely have some awesome synergy Dave. Way to go!!
thanks! they should be all over the 13 colonies.

Wow, congrats!

I guess CT is the state to detect if you're after GW buttons, def not going to happen in California :BangHead:

HH,
Brian

Awesome Dave - that makes a full dozen! Great find man!!

Awesome button Dave, and I think its even more special because its a whizzer (or the shank broke!). Your group shot of all the GW stuff is beyond impressive. We can clearly see the preferred GW button style... at least in your area.

Funny you mentioned linked states, because that's my favorite variety... However, my running total of GWs is ZERO, so I'd be thrilled with anything. :laughing7:

That's awesome Dave!

Wow "12" !!!! I thought I was lucky having found three in the same yard. Congrats man !!

That is incredible! The GW button is on my ( and everyone else's) bucket list! I met both of you at the Silverseekers Treasure show and your personal finds were very, very impressive . Keep going and you are bound to find your lucky thirteenth! Thanks, Fred
