Cool, nice job

I didn't know you were a JEWELER? Super job! My little half reale sucks compared to this. :BangHead:

Looks Great LIR!! Did you have it done? And if so how much.... Always nice to have a find you can wear yourself.

That's awesome, story behind it?

Nice job!! But it is technically not a bezel mount, it is more of a prong mount.

I made the bezel myself. Took 2 try's but I got it then. First one but next time we'll be better.
Didn't find it though was giving to me in a barter. 1650's so I'm loving wearing it.
Has certificate of authenticity also.
Treasure hunters down here dug it up.
Ship wreck treasure!

Nice job...I like it.

After countless hours of researching, finally confirmed the 8 Reale's shield and Cross combo to find the actual coins full mint / stamp.
Thought I'd share the infoImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1438260256.700261.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1438260278.700661.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1438260287.416731.webp

That is awesome! Tons of respect for doing it yourself! Great work.

I used to work with stained glass. In the future, I would find lead based solder and use a soldering iron. It conforms more specifically to the dimensions and eliminates the empty spaces between silver and mounting metal.

Thanks.
It was my first one and used sterling silver. I agree I could have gotten it tighter and maybe next time or I'll redo it but wanted to keep it silver on silver.
Lead is not my first choice as it's not a great material to have against the skin or contaminating the shop area.
Those fumes are nasty, respirator or not. Just happy to have some ship wreck treasure around my neck

Looking good!
