Lets talk deep- I mean deep wet-sand saltwater beach hunting!? Which of the following detectors do you think would detect coins and rings the deepest?? 1, Minelab Sovereign with 15" WOT coil.? 2, Minelab GP 3000 gold detector with standard 11" coil or larger aftermarket coil.? 3, Fisher CZ20 with large factory coil.? 4, Garrett Infinium with 14" DD coil.? 5, Headhunter pulse detector with 11" coil.? 6, Aquasearch pulse detector?? I recently read an older article from 2000, where a fellow dug rings at 19 inches at the beach, using his Minelab SD gold detector.? Another treasure hunter using an Excalibur could not pick up his signals at all.? I've heard the CZ20 with larger factory coil goes very deep.? As does the Sovereign with WOT coil... one fellow claimed coins at 18" with such a Sovereign!? So, if all the above detectors were side by side at the beach, which would take home the depth trophy?
