This morning I had a gripe with paypal. I wanted to send a comment. You have a choice of topics (nothing was relevant) and then a sub-topic (again nothing was relevant) So I picked something close and a paypal computer sent me a canned answer that wasn't even close to what my comment was. So I replied and said have a human read my message. I got an answer back from a male or female. I could not tell because I could not even come close in pronouncing the name. This person said call me and gave a number. That is their general incoming number and again I get a computer saying state your problem. Of course I could not state the problem in a few words so it starts over.

I know this is getting long. ;)

So I kept saying "I want to talk to a human" and "it" finally understood. So what do I get? Someone who does not speak English. I had to keep saying to repeat. Finally she said she would transfer me.

Now after a few minute wait I get a guy that speaks English, even at home.

We talk a few minutes and he completely understands (it is a problem between ebay's and paypal's software talking to each other)

Then he tells me something that I want to repeat to you all.

When you talk to paypal and want an "English only" speaker immediately ask for a SUPERVISOR.

It ain't just PayPal. Just about all companies now make it difficult to contact (never the correct selection). I have actually found myself SCREAMING for a human to talk to! Seems that all the companies have figured out the "zero" trick (that no longer works). When all fails - I select anything relating to purchasing their product - that always gets you a human!:laughing7:
