Well I’m on the Vineyard again and was hitting the usual cart paths/old roads in search for antiquities.
Near a tree root I get a nice screaming signal on my Equinox. Dig a plug and this is what is see...

I’m thinking, ok a pocket spill, a dollar and some pennies...I turn the bill over and see this...

Wow! Start digging....lots of signal in the hole...
Mentally was hoping for an old pocket spill, however I see that the pennies that are coming up are memorials. It was getting dark as I continued shoveling coins into my pocket until the pinpointer finally fell silent.
Get home and start cleaning off the coins, final count;
38 Memorials (youngest one being 1982)
6 wheats
1 1950 Rosie
1 1921 Morgan Dollar
Mixed in with the dirt were 6 copper nuggets...and a copper tube.

So everything is cool up until this point...I start gently unfolding the bill (and realize there are two 1 dollar bills. As I open the second one I see this....)

Edges look like they are burned.
Then start unrolling there copper tube and find this...

Looks like it’s some sort of leaf wrapped by a wire/rubbery material and again burned (some ash fell out).
Friends wife says it’s witchcraft. Copper is apparently used for healing and financial enrichment.
How long do you thing this has been in the ground...pennies seem to be in pretty good shape after 37 years?
Anyone else came across anything like this before??
