I live in the Northe East side of Houston area, just east of Lake Houston. Any body have anything interesting to tell me about this area. Just moved here about 2 years ago and want to catch up on my hunting.

Welcome to TNET. If you live out towards Huffman or Atascosita I would go to the local library and see if you can find any old homesteads etc using geological maps or olds newspapers. TMAN...

Thanks guys. I made a goof. i live just west of Lake Houston, in Atascocita. I lived in Baytown for half a year and I can see what you mean about there.
