Just looking to swing, weather permitting?

Im heading up to the White Mountains for Memorial Day Weekend to do a little camping w/ my daughter, not into parks and things just maybe a few areas we could possibly get a lil swing time in? Staying North of 3 in Franconia Ridge area......any help is greatly appreciated.

That area would probably be the white mountain national forest.If it is.no detecting is allowed.

I know in regards to carrying a gun national parks and national forest do not follow the same rules. For metal detecting is it parks or also forest that you can't detect in?

In national parks and national forests , its illegal to detect. State parks really depend on the ranger, they varie from park to park.
