Equinox has stopped a lot of sales not just the Tesero models.

I figured that. Haha dang I should have waited another month and got the equinox

I think there are other factors as well. The price of full featured machines is coming down, but Tesoro prices stay put. By not responding to the times, or releasing new machines, they are obsoleting themselves. I was a big Tesoro fan for 10 years but I had to move on.

I just bought a new black Vaquero. It's still in the truck. It came a few days ago. A lot of park hunters have bought in to the Equinox hype. I sold a used Tesoro about a month ago, had no issues at all. Check Ebay for completed sold items for correct pricing.

Tesoro will always weather the storm and all the new gizmos that come along.

I’ve seen some other units the blue and grey units with the older style coil but haven’t seen the Black with the 11x8. Course very many people probably aren’t selling there’s after a month

Because Tesoro has a proven track record.

I’m not selling mine cause I don’t like it I bought it because my wife went to buy me a new one not knowing what I wanted and bought me a bounty hunter and I told her hunny I appreciate it but I started out with a bounty hunter 25 years ago. I went out got this one just to have one for a hunt I was doing with my brother and anticipated on selling it once I got done with the hunt. Now it seems I’m having more trouble getting rid of it since the new equinox line has came out. I’ve bought and sold them for close to 25 years now and this is the longest I’ve waited to sell one

Wait a month, and your Vaquero will sell immediately. Very few people look for a metal detector during the winter. All this other reasoning just doesn't hold up. :skullflag:

Shoot that’s when I like to buy the most. I hunt more in the winter here in Arkansas cause we don’t get much of a break during the summer to hunt cause it’s so dang hot and our winters seem to be as of the last several years very mild. I’ll leave it in its box until then and with spring coming on I’m sure it’ll sell pretty quick

I know that at least some of the used ones are still selling, because I've bought a couple recently :-) Got a Tejon a few months ago and a Vaquero last week. Looking forward to Spring :-)

I agree with Terry.
I myself and waiting for hunting weather here in Michigan and considering another machine but it doesn't come with a lifetime warranty, so I'm waiting to order until I can use it. No point in buying a machine and having the warranty ticking while it sits inside too cold to hunt
But Terry is right. Once the warmer weather arrives up here in the northern states people will be looking.
Like selling a motorcycle in the winter.

Oh the joy of living in the south;) can enjoy a detector in the winter and a motorcycle ride[emoji23][emoji23]

Yeah because people never blow their Income Tax on Detectors they don't need. :laughing7:

If I hold on to it I’m sure someone with some green tax money will grab it

Metal detectors are kinda like Camping equipment ..you buy what you need in the winter for use in the summer if you want a great deal. And if you want some good money for your camping equipment you sell it during peak camping season

Yup, waterscoop nailed it. And they depreciate like new cars. Waterscoop, I have tons of fishing stuff to go with the camping stuff.

Some do some don’t. I’ve always had good luck about not losing money on one. Now atvs and dirt bikes yeah I’ve lost my rear a time or two.

Hey
It's just like it in the UK
Detectors are equally slow to sell this time of year,. Unless it's a stupidly low price.
