What is the law on city parks? And if anybody has evebeen to yates cider mill in shelby twp. let me know about the law acroos the street by the river where people park?

Well you can do one of two things. If it's a public park and there's no signs prohibiting it, swing away until somebody says you can't. Or option two (this is what I do) get ahold of the City Manager (the DPW Boss is also good to get ahold of). Introduce yourself, and ask to detect while also explaining your technique in hole filling / sod replacement.

Nobody's ever told me no.

i called shelby and told me go for it but any historic stuff to call there hisroic society.LoL they to also know the underground railroad ran through there also, lol lot of place to look around now the old ford plant there is underconstuction and still has the old plant standing. good place to check before the houses rule there
