Didn't really feel like doing the kind of serious work needed
to do a historic search. Sooooo, I opted for a couple hours at
one of my clad factories. It worked, found a few and now I'm
comfortably tired enough to sleep tonight. :)

Ya know it's strange, I hadn't really been paying
much attention. But, I've never seen this reverse
on a penny before. LOL I know of the special coins
they made in 2009 but, I've never actually seen this
one before. LOL :dontknow:

Anyhoo, thanks for stopping by.

Finding clad always serve the purpose of scratching that itch that KyDigNQueen and I get when we don't have a lot of time or haven't been able to take our detectors for a walk. A good day finding clad is very satisfying, we don't alway have to find silver or gold or bling. Nice digs!

My kids call me Claddy instead of daddy. Silver can be tough here in A2 you should see my mason jars of clad but I am just as excited each time I go out that Ill find some good stuff Treasure hunter all the way!!!!!

One more day of work and I can get my fix, hopefully.
Good day Sir!!

Nice haul..

Yeah, well, I gotta admit. One of the aspects that attracts me to clad hunts, is that most of my decisions are, is it a dime? penny? nickle? quarter? LOL
I always seem to find a bunch. Makes me dream a bit about that day when all these decisions will be dated around 1800. :)

I understand. Every time I neglect taking my detector out for a walk, he always leaves little piles of pulltabs all over the house! :tongue3:

Looks good congrats

Maybe not as fun as finding the treasures you do in your fields, but, yeah, it serves a purpose. Thanks!

Oh my yes! The clad DOES add up! If you don't think it does. Just separate into denominations and store in some jars, for a year! :)

That's another aspect I like. The clad is like a crop. One can almost always count on it to grow back. :)
Might be new stuff but I have no qualms at all about finding a brand spanking new diamond ring! :tongue3:

Thanks, all!

Clad or not, Congrats on the finds! That looks like a nice hunt to me. The penny with the capitol bldg on the back, what year did you say was on it, 2009? I have not seen that one before but if they are out there, I'll keep looking. I always check change for silver and wheat cents just in case someone decides to spend them or does not know the value. I'd feel real good after a day like yours!

Looked like ya did pretty good!

Well the clad always fits well in the piggy bank! :icon_thumright:
I don't recall seeing that reverse on a One Cent piece either but I collect annual mint sets and I'm sure it's on there and I just never noticed. It's just a crying shame it's a 'Zincoln'.

There are times I need to just dig, clad is way better than a bunch of trash. Looks like you have a nice cladfest location to feed the itch Whadi.

Yep, it *is* an addiction! :tongue3:

I keep *several* clad factories in line so I can almost always get my "fix". BUT, I'm determined to make this year a little more "age" intensive. Means I have to get up off my brain and figure out where some of those puppies are waitin' for me. ;)
