Very cool find, Happy days!

AWESOME - I GOT ONE WITH AN "S" MINT IN XF CONDITION
I FOUND WHEN I WAS A KID - IN A SMALL "HUNTED OUT" PARK - EVERYONE SAID ID FIND NOTHING THERE
BIG CONGRATS !!!

Huge congrats on a very valuable coin. ;-)

that's freakin' sweet. congrats!

Banner vote! Congrats!

Good job I recently found one and it was a 1916 or 1917 I think mine was th 17 the 16 would have paid for mine Glad one of us got a valuable one Good Job!!!!!!

Murrell-Gang, I collect that series and from what I can tell, there's not much doubt about that coin being the 1918/7-S overdate rarity. I would put that coin somewhere in the XF range, which puts its value at several thousand dollars- CONGRATS! IMHO, I'd consider having a coin dealer verify its authenticity and perhaps have PCGS or NGC slab it. Regardless, that is an amazing find & I couldn't be happier for you!
