Just picked up a HH pirate Pro

Price was right, thought it would make a good back up to my Excal.

Not much info out there, good or bad as far as the Pirate Pro goes. Only a handful of vids on You tube.

I did read that it is Made in China and is supposedly similar to the Fisher 1280x aquanaut.

Haven't tried it in the water and my air tests show that it is not spectacular depth demon, but it should be a adequate backup at the fresh water beaches I hit.

Anyone have any opinions/experience with the HeadHunter Pirate pro?

I have one as a back up too. Really have not used it enough to form a good oppion. I like the idea of it. But just can't get to the beach enough to get a good feel for it.
