Just trying to identify the maker of this bowl....

I'm not sure I'm in the right forum, as I'm clear this is a bowl. But, I can't find one like it anywhere and am trying to figure out anything about it. Has anyone seen one like it or does anyone know the maker?

It is about a foot wide at the widest.

Maybe diggummup will view this and offer his opinion as he seems to have a passion for old glass and some knowledge of makers as he's ID'ed a couple pieces I've purchased spot on. I can only think it's earlier Bristol glass or later 1970's + Fenton or the like. Reproductions of old style glass has been done for a while now. Pretty little piece though.
