Hello all. I'm currently in the hill country for my job and I packed my detector with me when I came down from home in Wyoming. I knocked on some doors around Lukenbach last weekend and got shut down pretty hard every place I tried. Folks seemed to wonder why I would even bother them by asking to go on their land!
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone in the area might want to take a non-local out to a permission this Sunday afternoon? I'm just looking to get my coil to the soil. I'm currently in Fredericksburg and I've read that the parks are a "no-go" according to the local authorities, otherwise I'd give those a try. I'm open to anything from modern coin-shooting/jewelry hunting to relics and everything in between.
I'd be willing to treat to lunch anyone willing to take me out for a few hours. I've also got some stories from a recent detecting trip in the UK I can share.
