My understanding, From What I was told,
the Carnival was July 19-23 & the Grounds were under 3 Feet of Water .
So odds are non of my Finds are from that. only 1 Quarter & 1 Dime looked recent & were able to be Eyeballed after the Signal.

K Town, Originally Spread Eagle Manor... was Founded about 1807 according to the Signs.
But has a History that goes Back to The Indian Traders ,
before the French & Indian War, by Iroquois embassies,
pioneer, interpreters and diplomats
between the Pennsylvania Colony and Native Americans.
this was used as a rest area along the tulpehocken path
at least in the 1730's.

yes I've got some nice old coins and allot of silver from here,
but as you said, getting harder and harder to find

Hey, getting to hunt is a great day any day in my book.

John

Glad you got out today! :occasion14:

Good to see you got out Jeff..looks like my kind of place! Not crowded and LOTS of grass...sorry to hear your back still not cooperating, mine starts on fire after about 30 mins of swinging. Great pics! Ddf.

Way ta go jeff of pa..Congrats :icon_thumright:

Love the pics Jeff. Nice to see you got out. Looks like it could be a great place to hunt.

At least, one would think, that all that water should at least soften the ground. :dontknow:

Slow and steady. Just keep the faith. But, just maybe.....its time for a new permission? Instead of continually doing the same places and expect something different? :tongue3:

Take care.

yea ground is like Butter.

I Do Need new Spots, But the only thing left I haven't hunted
are mainly Private Homes.
and unfortunately, I Don't like knocking at doors

Somebody left the sprinkler on for three nites and days--oops-was I the last to leave that night.

It sure looks like a great place to be !

I've been lazy lately myself. I also don't like knocking on doors and saying, "Hi! I'm your friendly neighborhood Detectorman. May I come in and dig up your yard?" :tongue3:

Just do your research. Ask people you know/meet about them knowing anyone who has an old place.

Stay cool!
