Biting flies tonight, and they aren’t deer flies. Decided to swing a while with my wife running the shovel. We found a 2-loop trace, 2 buckles, (some nails) and this steering link, u-joint, ball-joint item. It is 48” long, measured along the curve. Also found several pieces of really thick glass chunks. About 1/4” thick. This must have been standard, years ago, because I find a lot of it. Keep swinging. It’s better that Love Boat reruns by a (nautical) mile! Even the Charro episodes. 😊
