Keeping charged while dredging etc

I thought this may be of interest to any prospectors working in a creek river or stream. I am not affiliated with this company. The idea if one could copy it and create something similar for keeping larger systems charged.

Friends of mine years ago made a Pelton Wheel out of a 10 bike. It would keep 12 V bateriies charged

I think the MSRP is not going to be worth it. There are lots of these types out there though

What I use for running things like a blue bowl or gold cube out in the field, and even at camp or home, is an ammo can solar generator like this. It has a 12ah SLA battery and you can recharge it off a 10w 20w panel. It's nice top have for any reason. I have even plugged in an inverter and ran a corded drill away from a power source. It was a fun little build too.
