Kennedy Bonanza!

In preparing for another order of half dollars today, I finished unloading a few boxes this morning. I always tell the bank that I'll take any halves "I didn't bring you." One bank had twelve rolls that fit that description. Opened the first one and saw silver on the end. Mostly silver poured out. Same with each roll after that! 230 40% Kennedys and, as a bonus, twelve or thirteen clad so I got an extra buck or so out of it! Now to see what comes in this afternoon's boxes.....

I plan to sell at the silver price, at least, unless I can get more. Otherwise, I guess it's called hoarding!

I wish I had started doing this 15 years ago when I first saw it on TreasureNet, but I have been too busy wasting the intervening years with digging up deep dirty pennies.

Hmmm...did the math...at the current rate of my silver half finds at exactly one every 24 months....it'l only take me 460 years or so, give or take a decade to match that! Congrats on a huge silver score, those finds are rare...take it while u can! Ddf
