Kentucky .. near red River gorge. ID

Was hoping someone would be able to help identify. We found this along a creek bed near red River gorge in KY. The area where a handle would be has a raised surface area on top, bottom, and the butt of the stone. Thanks for any help or information!

Hello friend. I think you have a naturally occurring stone there. No evidence it has been altered by the hand of man (nor woman). Not an artifact.
