Kevin Reilly of Reilly's Treasured Gold in Pompano Beach, Florida

I just had a call from The Bulgarian. Kevin Reilly died this afternoon after a short battle with cancer. Many of us in South Florida frequently visited his shop not only to chat and swap stories, but to buy metal detectors, various equipment and of course his scoops which was made at his shop. No other details are available at this early time.

I had the pleasure to know Kevin for 14 years and he did a lot for the Gold Coast Treasure Club and the South Florida Treasure Hunters Club of which he was a member of both. I learned a lot from him about metal detecting. He will be missed.

I'm really sad to hear the news. Kevin was a really nice guy. I spoke with him a few times over the phone when I was ordering my scoops. I bought a few over the years from him. His scoops are the best ones out there. :'(

:hello:
Read this: Carrots, Chocolate, Raisens, Corn, and Filberts. What is this? Chunkay. Anti-Cancer Medicine.
Native American Medicine, a book by Vogel. Today a proffessor at Harvard Medical School.
This works. I mentioned this to a city worker of Cocoa Beach who had cancer on his head that he was going to haft to be removed by surgery. After trying this concoction for 2 weeks it cleared and he does not have cancer! Ghost town "Nestle", North Carolina. Nestle Chunky chocolate bar. But this candy confections does not have all the ingredients. So don't die of cancer people. Hoorah!!! :headbang:

Re: Kevin Reilly of Reilly's Treasured Gold in Pompano Beach, Florida

I was just reading the forum and noticed this great loss. I had the opportunity and pleasure to meet Kevin while on business in Florida while staying in Vero Beach. I had spent the afternoon speaking with him after going to his shop and purchasing one of his scoops. He was a real pleasant person to talk to and was very knowledgeable about metal detecting and offered great advice. Once again I am sorry to hear of this loss to the metal detecting community. Many condolences to his family and friends.
Thanks
Joe
