I could tell you a big drawn out story but in this case the pics tell most of the story.
Saturday I found this Olan Mills pendent, it's not stamped other than the TM name, so I'm guessing it's plated. There's still a bit of glue from where I believe it would have had a portrait.
Today I dropped my son of at one of the local bike parks and swung on a yard or 3. First out between the street and sidewalk about 3" down I found a nice bracelet and surprisingly it wasn't broken. After a quick rinse I found "sterling and 14k" stamped on the back (weight 41 grams).
After taking my son home and grabbing some lunch I went back and found a necklace with what I think is a hair clip attached to a sterling fork end piece, also on the same chain was a heart shaped charm with 23 diamond stamped 10k on the back.
Also I found a goldish earring, a 1979 Hotwheels Evel Knevel Rocket Car, a tootsietoy pickup, a couple of wheaties 1916 and 1950, and some other stuff not worth going on about.
