King George, Unusual Token, Quartz Arrowhead etc
Barely swung the detector today. Went to take a friend who collects arrowheads to a couple a fields I know. First swing of the day was a georgie. Second was that toasted looking thing. I assume it's a button but I don't see a shank. Headed to another field to look for arrowheads and we found a beautiful quartz arrowhead. I'm waiting for the pics to get sent to my email. I walked across the street to detect for about 5 minutes before I went home and my first swing gave up that token for Fisk Tires. I'll be honest, the whole ride home I was flippin' my lid because I thought it was something else, but still pretty neat. I've included a picture of what the front of the token would look like in good shape. So what do you think on the last pic? Toasted button? Can't find any spot that looks like there was a shank. 7 coppers in 7 days! I'm one happy boy!!
