King John coin

This is a coin I found along with several others in a box that was on it's way to the dump. I am curious if it is a real coin. Except for a small chunk off f it's side, it hardly has any wear to be a coin from the rime of a "King John" Any help? Or possibly idea of it's value? Thanks alot! TH2

It's not a coin, it's the remains of a modern medallion with the pendant lug broken off. It is modeled after an old Irish penny and it depicts the English King John who reigned from 1167 until 1216 AD. The writing is gaellic and the lettering ROBA RD OH DIVA means KING JOHN/ ROBERD OF DUBLIN in English.

Im aware that it depends on condition etc. but i was just wondering if someone could give me a rough valuation of the difference of a poor and excellent quality? I heard $300? but im not sure what grading that would be for. Cheers

It would all depend on the Mint and the Moneyer, some are rarer than outhers, so fetch more money
