Managed to pull a few more oldies from my 9 cob and gold coin spot tonight which is directly across the river from a 7 cob site. Circa 1700 river crossing:dontknow: Still haven’t found and probably never will find sites as good as these were. Highlights were another smooth William III and a nice leather adornment piece

Always nice to see a KWIII come out of the ground. That one may be smooth but looks in decent shape otherwise.

Yeah, I think it’s harder to find a 17th century copper with good detail than it is a gold coin or tree coin. I should know:laughing7:

Sweet! Maybe next time I'm in Maryland to visit my in-laws, I'll bring my MD. A lot of history in that state!
