Kourou, French Guiana

Anyone ever get the chance to detect there. Devils island is 7 miles off the coast of the beach. I am traveling there for buisness in a few weeks and will be there 3 weeks or so and am taking the detector along. Any info would be appreciated.

You've written this on several people's posts, in regards to random areas/beaches. Uh .... what's your point ? Why would they "die" ? Or ... are you just trying to be funny ?

Hey,Tom.stoneshirt here.Hows things in Salinas? I guess I was just trying to be funny. .Born and raised till 14 in Watsonville.Then to Santa Cruz,till they put in the University.Metal Detected around the World for 20 Yrs.I now live in Santa Marta Colombia.Been here around 9Months or so.Haven't seen ONE Detector on the Beaches here.I guess what tickles my Funny bone is all these People who have NO experience what so ever,planning Trips to God forsaken dangerous Countrys..Go to Jamaica,and hunt the beaches at Nite,your gonna'die.French Guiana? Hmmm.A little research into a place goes a long way.
