I see a brachiopod and maybe an orthocone (straight shelled nautiloid).. don't know what a Chrynoidal is :P

A couple pics of a Brachiopod and what I believe to be a Chrynoidal fossil. Anyone have any other ideas feel free to let me know.

Collecting the Ordovician, huh?

Your brachiopod is some kind of orthid; most likely a Platystrophia sp., and I agree with Lance that the other fossil is an "orthoceras" cephalopod. Lance, by "chrynoidal" I think that he meant crinoidal.

HERE is a blog that describes some Ordovician fauna from Kentucky and elsewhere, too.

I know, just thought the spelling was funny. :P
