Here I lay in the hospital cruising TNET while I patiently wait for the surgeon to pull the trigger and take my appendix out. Hope this doesn't seriously cut into my detecting time because we all know we can't be having none of that.

Anyway, HH guys and don't forget to leave me a Seated or two out there in Aurora.

Sorry to hear about your trouble for sure! Seems it was just today I was retelling the story of the guy who went into the hospital for an appendectomy. When the surgeon made the incision, a live worm wiggled out onto the surgical dressing. Seems his appendix was OK after all. He picked up a parasite from some bad sushi. The pain was that worm eating him from the inside out. The good news is he's OK now. I won't tell the story here 'cuz I don't want you to worry about parasitic worms.

Thanks for the call the other day. I'm sorry I didn't get back to you. I've been busy with some issues & my phone battery needs to be replaced, so it's usually off being charged up so I can get my five minute call in before it goes dead again.

Anyway, thoughts & prayers are with you, Jon.

Thanks for the warm wishes everyone. Just got home from the hospital. Surgery went very well according to the surgeon, but I sure am in a lot of pain. They gave me some good pain killers, but they just don't seem to do the trick. I asked them to take a pic of my appendix for me, and they did...they just forgot to put a quarter next to it for size comparison....obviously they're not detectorists.

I'll post the pic up for you guys that are strong of heart. Just don't let your kids see, and if they do just tell them its a shrimp.

I should be back in the field in a week. I hope at least. HH!
