The yard and swale around this old miami apt house I've been working continued to produce again this weekend, with 2 more mercs-1936 and 1940; 3 more wheaties; a 1950 canadian penny and a 1957 nickel. I didn't get to hunt as long as i would have liked, only about 45 minutes each on sat and sun. One of the mercs was under a 4" thick black olive tree root.
The 4th wheatie I found in the swale of an old coral gables development that I scouted briefly.
The photos below show earlier finds from this old house (along with 3 wheaties from another house). That's 18 wheaties, 4 mercs, a buffalo nickel, a broken 18k earring, and a WW2 era military label pin from this one miami location. It's not rivaling my dad's house yet in number and quality of coins, but it's a solid second, and that includes my first gold.
