Hello Everyone, first time posting. I've been Th'ing on and off since the late 70's and have found many cool things over the years. I just wish I had shared my previous finds. Anyway, I hit a 1950 yard today for a couple of hours expecting clad and some wheats with the possibility of a couple silver Rosie's or George's. All the quarter clad was found in a 2'x3' area. I thought I was digging another one in this area when I was surprised by the 1941d half ( my second walker to date). I moved over to an area away from the house swinging among some large trees. This is where I found the 1891 seated quarter. Its my first one ever and my oldest silver find to date(Oldest coin that I've found is a 1793 LC ). Just when I thought nothing else good was going to be found today I dug the three ringer. This house was close to the Potomac River so my guess is that it was on a travel path from river boat landings.I hope the attached pictures are visible. Congrats on your great day, thx for sharing, Ddf.

I agree with dirtdigginfool, We all would love to see the 1793 LC !! If it even grades Good - it's likely a 3 or 4 thousand dollar coin !

Wow a walker and a seated! Very nice! :icon_thumleft: That's a cool looking ring. Any info on it?

Congrats on those great silvers, and your first Seated Quarter. Looks like that was a pretty good yard.

those are some good diggins

Looks like everything came up aces Where did the ring come from? That would make sense if found near a river boat dock. Someone looked for that for a while.

Awesome hunt.Congrats :icon_thumright:

Welcome to Tnet from Mississippi.

Thanks for sharing your finds BKB!. Looks like you had a great day of hunting. The seated liberty quarter is lovely. That one has eluded me over the years. Good luck on your future hunts, and don't be a stranger.

Welcome to the forum from Massachusetts! :icon_thumleft:

Those are two of my favorite ladies! :occasion14:

Nice finds there. We could all use a hunt like that!
Welcome.

18k plated

My sincere apologies to everyone. Without even looking at the coin again I know for a fact it is NOT a 1793 but a 1799. My first post and I have an embarrassing typo.

ALL GOOD! If your knees are toast, then we know your eyes and fingers went a long time ago! Lol...but I'm sure if you posted that 1799 LC, we'd enjoy it...Ddf.
