lady have a seat

well you guys know i dont post much because well because like all of you i would rather be huntin rather than typin but i just thought i would post my first seated coin that i found today while out with the family ...was only bout 5 inches deep but one of those iffy type signals that i guess we should all dig because this seated 1853 dime found its way to the surface because i dug that iffy one we sometimes pass up...just goes to show ya.... i wonder what i have missed on other iffy ones i didnt dig? hmmmmm

Great find there, 9volt. I found a '54 with arrows last week myself. Which detector were you using? Shouldn't have been iffy with the Explorer.

yea it was the explorer... nearest i can figure is that the ground was super marshy from rain the past 3 days because the coin wasnt even on edge it was flat on the bottom of the plug...so who knows

thats a great find 9volt. it does pay off to slow down and dig those iffy signals. a lot of the time its junk, but just when you think thats all it will be something like that dime comes up!

I'd love to find a seated, great job 9volt!

I'm a little pissed at you, though....now I have about 2,114 "iffy" signals to go back and dig.
