I live in northeast Ohio right on Lake Erie. Two nights ago there was barely enough snow to cover the grass when I went to bed at midnight. I woke up at 6:30 am to 18 inches of heavy wet snow. Buffalo New York got 3 feet the same day. They are expecting 3-4 more feet between tomorrow and Sunday evening. This thing called "lake effect" is extremely weird. These narrow bands of snow can be 5 to 10 miles wide. When we got the 18 inches the other day, 8 miles south of me got 3-4 inches. I have seen 27 inches in a day, but can't wrap my mind around 6 feet of snow over a couple of days. I hope the people of western New York can get through this storm.

Stay safe and post some pics! I went to boarding school in orchard park where the Bills stadium is…. We had some crazy lake effect storms. And so cold with that humidity!
