No, an old collector who passed decades ago sold them to me when I lived in Ohio. I had never found a bifurcate then. All 3 are smokers, personal finds?
Very nice Biff!Niceuns, Bifurcates always amaze me with thier size range, I found a biff in Perry County Ohio made from Harrison county flint at about 3 ". this one pictured was found in Pickaway county, smallest biff ive found.

That is a really nice one. Looks like Coshocton flint. What area of Ohio?I found this one when I was excavating a wetlands pond on my farm around 2 1/2 inches.View attachment 2118395.

Wyandot county, and it is CoshoctonThat is a really nice one. Looks like Coshocton flint. What area of Ohio?
There was way to much dirt moved to sift. I did find two caches in the same area that I sifted. One was a couple hundred pieces of black Coshocton flint that was debitage from a couple of bifaces. The other was a couple hundred pieces of gray Coshocton of small lance forms, both well finished and also preforms that had been "Killed". I nearly went crazy tying to refit both caches.Niceun, i woudve sifted the whole area... great find thanks for the look...
