Lake Superior Silver

I pulled over on the highway for a quick stop and spotted a little beach that I had wanted to detect for years and years. The wife gave me an hour (we were still 2 hours from home). Fifty-five minutes later I was two silvers and two wheaties richer and some other junk. I guess I will have to check this place out again.



Lake Superior beach.





1955 and 1947 silver dimes.




The 55 minute haul....1940 Wheat and another worn Wheat.




Cheapo ring.



Rotted nickel.





1947 Silver dime with Maple Leaf...the coin was minted in 1948
