Lamberton Scammell China

I bought this set for $2 this weekend. I thought they were attractive and interesting.
Where does lamberton scammell rank with other china manufacturers?

I'm completely new to this and interested in learning.
I see a lot of china around my area at gsales and would like to learn different names and what to watch for.

Scammell china was made in Trenton around the turn of the century. I think mostly railroad and hotel china. Funny you posted this I hunted the old Scammell house not too long ago with some nice finds. Here is one of many links you can find.

I know nothing about that china. I do like it though, if you like it buy it, and at 2 bucks you did good and can't go wrong on it.
