Large Cent and Belt Buckle

Or at least what used to be a Large Cent. Looks like someone took a punch and made a button or some kind of pin or something out of it, but it is the size of a large cent and I can barely make out the letters MERICA. Also the buckle wich says "sterling front", and "Hickock Quality". I guess silver front is another way of saying silver plate.

It was definitely the most different looking largie I've found, I've found a few holed cents, but nothing like this. Yes I did find it metal detecting, about 3 inches down under a tree!
