Zach met me at my house we went to the "farm where nothing can be found" He saved the day there with a Large Cent, maybe he can get a better pic after a little cleanup and oil? He also found a KG and some buttons at some other fields we tried. His LC has the hole in it. We could see the "Liberty" On the Matrons head.
His finds

I found this Melba Toast I guess KG, if anyone can tell what it is, please chime in. I also found a 1901 IHC and a 1934 Wheat.
Good day hunting with a nice young man, God is good.
Enjoy the pix

Thanks, very thin and toasty.

I would take those finds any day my display case coins have been very lonely lately. Also sounds fun to hunt with someone Thanks for sharing your cool finds!!!!!!!!

Cool finds and nice place you have, thanks for sharing! I'll take any KG anytime.

Sweet man! The last largie i found in a farm field was behind my house. It was pretty toasted so i decided to electrolysis it. Got to the point where i could see the 1827 but had a lot more junk on it so i kept going. Needless to say you cant see anything on it anymore. Its a nice shiny large cent sized thing now. Be careful with electrolysis.

Great finds! -Lisa

Farm fields in my area could hold some very old stuff, the fertilizers are brutal on copper, nickle, and bronze, I really want gold or silver because the fertilizers don't hurt them as much (just only when the plow hits them, lol)

I don't zap my coppers, nickle, or bronze coin anymore either, usually I'll just do a soak in distilled water then a light coat of oil to see what I can see. Sometimes if it looks like I have some detail I'll do a hot peroxide bath followed by hot oil soak

Great finds! -Lisa
Thank you
