Large Cent turned into a Button or Toy? Solved - Whizzer Toy!

My last question for the night with buttons. Was the Matron Head Large Cent turned into a button or a "whizzer toy". I have seen them ID'd both ways and am not sure how to tell. Or is it just a poor, mutilated penny?

Because of the location and size of the holes, I'd agree it's a 'whizzer' toy. Interesting find, Breezie

The large cent wasn't too favored with the public.
The coppers were used as curtain weights, whizzers and buttons.
