Hi Perry. I just found my very first large cent a couple of weeks ago. I used the AT Pro in pro zero mode and it rang up 88 every time the coil passed over it. But I was in shallow water creek hunting too. I'm not sure if it would ring up differently in the ground. I hope this helps. GL & HH

I have found 3 this year and 2 were with pro....I would agree with high 80's but depth can change that....

I found one last year and it was a mid 80s VDI but the sound it made was great so I knew I was digging it.

Mid to high 80's. They are different so do be so concerned with the #'s. Audio audio audio..

oh cool, thats good to know that i havent passed any of those up...I too was curious about that, because i have found dollar sized thick tokens that read in the low 80's
