We hit 2 planned sites today and then just "freestyled" for the remainder. I forgot my machine at home.... which was an epic failure.... but my loving wife was kind enough to drive it up to me! Once that debacle was handled, the funds started piling up. We were out for probably 10 solid hours, with a little work mixed in..(we did a site evaluation for a client whilst in the area..)

I found a Wheat, the Buffalo, a crusty copper, the big lock and 3 civil war buttons that were all in the same hole (basically)

My buddy found AN AMAZING CANADA ISSUE " 1812 ONE PENNY coin at our first freestyle site that turned out to be virgin. Then he got a few spoons, a monster dandy button, academy head and an assortment of other goodies.

We both live and appreciate history and put tons of time into researching old maps....so when the yield is good it makes it even better. Hope you all like the finds, and good luck and happy hunting!
