While this video is not mine, this first picture is. It is a dead little fat Python on the road in the Big Cypress Swamp. We are having a big problem with these now breeding in the Everglades. They get fat on racoons, hogs, alligators and other snakes. We are told to kill them on site. Some of them that have been spotted are huge. Reports from airboaters are coming in of snakes large enough to eat a man but escaping underwater. We now have 3 different types of Pythons and Boa Constrictors. The bottom picture was taken by a Park Ranger that found a Python dead that tried to eat an alligator too large. He apparently kicked his way out but died anyway....scary. There is now a struggle in the swamp for the top of the food chain.

where i come from we only worry about is what we call fruit jar rattlers because thats how big around they are and copper heads.
