How are you all going which means how are you today and not how are you getting there.Any way due a couple of days of thunderstorms i house bound. Tried my luck last nite when had a couple hours between the storms. Yep got NOTHING So spent time going threw the rest of the large opal shards. These came from a trip to the opal feilds a few weeks ago. 4 pieces good enough for small ring but nothing of any real worth. Anyway heres some pretty colours and not much else.

I've seen opal miners (diggers or whatever they are called) on the television. The ones in this particular program were in what appeared to be a desert and they lived underground in rooms they had dug out while looking for opals. Very interesting and rather cool. What part of Oz is opal territory?

**Just a tad off topic, but, did your gov. really take everyone's firearms away?**

Very cool, those chunks are not worth much? They sure are eye catching. HH
