going through last summer's pictures; was my first time coming across it. of note are the atypical "darkened" tones of the cobbles laying about (only one photo, regrettingly):
it's likely the banks in this pictured segment have eroded up to twice the width they would have been prior to settlement, when the channel would've been deeper. will surely revisit.
