Unfortunately, in the states, Pentechnic is unavailable for all practical purposes.

I do have the Vaquero which is the similar model at 14khz. It will tell me I have a high value target deeper than my latest F75 DST monster. Jack Gifford's discrimination circuits are unmatched imho. I have a silver quarter buried in my garden. With the F75 maxed and tuned properly, it grunts and let's me know something is there, but doesnt tell me anything about the target. I swing over it with the Vaquero, I know it's not a nail, it's something on the high end.

I don't know where you're located, if you're stateside and located a Pentechnic, I don't think Tesoro is going to touch it. You'll have to send it back for service.....someone else can chime in and let me know.

I wish we had Pentechnic here........

Just purchased this detector off the big auction and if there is a problem later on, I only live an hour drive from broken detectors.
