Last 2 hunts. First 2 center, Injuns, Silver, and a weird chicken thing!

Hey everyone, I've been trying to get out as often as I can in the past few days, to make the most out of the recent ground thaw.
Yesterday and today I returned to an 1840's church site that I hunted for 2 days back in August. The last time I was there, I found a Large Cent, some Injuns, Some Mercs, and a buffalo or 2. I figured I'd ask if I could hunt the site again. No Problem.
Yesterday, I found 2 Injuns, an 05, and an 07, both in very nice shape. I soaked them in hot olive oil for a few hours, then toothpicked them clean. I also found this funky chicken thing. I have no idea what it is. I posted a pic of it in my hand for size reference.
When I went back today I found my very first 2 cent piece, an 1865, at about 6 inches deep. That made my day! Also, I found this silver ring. It looks like a homemade ring or something. On the inside it says "Lois 1945", and "Silver". I have no idea what the stuff on the front means.
I also dug TONS of trash, as usual.
Anybody know what the chicken thing is? Or the writing on the front of the ring?

Hey BK nice finds. Need a picture of the bottom of the "chicken thing" May have been the top to a bank. The writing on the ring looks like Hebrew. Maybe someone else can give you a heads up if they know Hebrew.

Looks like the ground is a lot less acidic there than here. I have never found an Injun
here I could read the Liberty on.

Yes, these Injuns are in unusually good shape. I'd say that for every 20-25 Injuns I dig, you're only able to make out some letters on one of them. As soon as I saw them, I knew they were in really nice shape. They were only about 3 feet apart, both less than 6 inches down. Must have been some nice dirt!
I wish they were older of course! LOL.
Nickels take the worse beating around here.
I'm seriously reconsidering even bothering to put my dug Buffalos, and V's in 2x2's anymore.
They're horrible!
Maybe I'll try to spend them just to see peoples reactions to them.
