Went back to an old spot 2 weeks ago & it was a complete bust except for a
few headstamPs & this dog tag.

Got out for a bit this sunday &
went back to a spot I haven't been to for 2 years. This place has been hit
pretty hard by Dave, Frank & I as well as a few others. No good signals so I
went on down the road to a 2nd trashy site & pulled the fork, spoon, wierd
screw camp with 3 pillars marked: Reliance, Uniformity, Unity...any ideas
Was thinking this went to an oil lamp fuel cover but I'm stumped. Also pulled
the 21 wheatie as well as this gold plated ring.

No other coins there so
I left & went back to my USMC button house & pulled the 1861 Fattie.
I've walked over this same spot & not sure why It didn't ring up, must have
been because it has rained the night before. The ground & woods are sooo dry
now. This place will be a different place in the fall with some real good
soaking rains.
