Piece of property near me is being sold. Have detected there several times in the past with no luck other that shotgun shell bottoms, however have found CW buttons and bullets within 50 yds on adjoining property. Previously I walked this with an equinox 600 (first machine). 6 months ago I bought a 900 and wanted to see if I missed anything with the 600.
Clearly I did….1.5 hrs of walking over ~2 acres:
25 shotgun bottoms
5 .22 long/long rifle brass
3 .22 short brass
1 22 hornet brass (first for me)
1 .22 bullet
1 .38 bullet
And what I can only assume was the remnants of a sardine and old Milwaukee lunch (guessing Washington, Jefferson or Cornwallis)
I dug every signal. Goes to show while different machines can do different things…..if there’s nothing there to find you’re SOL.
