here are the prices for my last few finds ... it's goin' up

03/01
tin 760 lbs @ .07 per pound
304SS 260 lbs @ .60 per pound
aluminum cans 38 lbs @ .60 per pound

03/08
steel, heavy metal mixed with tin 1220lbs @ .08 per pound
car battery $4.00
yellow brass 20lbs @ $1.20 per pound

03/15
tin 1020lbs at .09 per pound!!! for tin ... I hope this price stays around for a while ... time to clean out the back yard!

seriously, are you talkin tin cans? I remember pickin tin cans with my dad back in the 50s, wow. He did it all, newspaper, tin cans, work from sun up to sun down. But i never thought he got 9 cents a pound.
 

tin/shreadable steel. The scrap yard calls any steel under 3/16" tin ... sorry for the confusion, but there were tin cans in there as well
