Unless I change my mind, these artifacts from my 3.5 hour hunt this morning will be my last finds from the river site this year. The tobacco plants are beginning to shade the row centers and the temperature is hot by mid morning. The paint bowl was in the bottom of a shallow ditch caused by recent hard rains as was the Tyrone flint scraper. The Graver and hafted scraper were exposed by the recent rains as well. The tan blade in the center was in an area that I had hunted before and was fully exposed today. No complaints on that site this year except no Paleo artifacts found and it will take a deep plowing for them to be recovered in the future. Thanks for looking and happy hunting, Q.
