I have only been at this fabulous addiction for a few months and have already found a 925 silver charm bracelet and a 10k white gold bracelet. I have found a few other small trinkits of silver but still no silver coins. Today I got a late start due to the weather. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to test out my AT Pro in the rain. I went out for about 2 hours and the photos show my findings. I found my first foreign coin, the 5cent Euroand some bling along with the regular clad. A large washer and a couple of sight finds. I found some pants buttons and was about to call it a day when I swung across a low tone that ws not iron. I swung several times and it kept hitting 43 solid so I turned and swung over the spot at 90 degrees from the first and it kept hitting a solid 44. I dug and saw the sparkling stones comming up on the digger. I couldn't tell anything out in the field cause of the dirt but when I got home and cleaned the ring, I found the 10K mark. The ring appears to have some type of repair on one side of the band which goes through like it had cracked or been sized. I don't have any of the test acids or diamond testers yet si I will have a jeweler look at the ring for me. Nothing like digging in the rain on the last day of the year. Another Dirty Trinkit. Yesssssssssssssss.

That repair mark is probably and area where the rhodium has worn off the gold base metal. That's how "white" gold is created. It just rhodium plated yellow gold. Great find considering gold is going for over $50 a gram. HH, Oldsean

Nice haul, really nice.
